Dr Clare is the Deputy Medical Director, Acute Medical Consultant at SWBH NHS Trust and NHSE Midlands AIM Regional Advisor. She has been heavily involved in innovation, service delivery and design. She is a national pioneer of POCUS within internal medicine and has been practicing over 18 years, with national courses and authored "Ultrasound for the Generalist" with Cambridge University Press. She is passionate about widening participation and leads a movement "Women Empowering Women" within medicine and has delivered various workshops to empower colleagues. These have included sessions to address sexual harassment, bullying, speaking up, to banter and violence within the NHS just to name a few. She has a TEDx talk and Podcast entitled "Women Empowering Women".
