I am a consultant physician in the Sheffield Pulmonary Vascular Disease Unit. I am the current chair of the British Thoracic Society (BTS) Pulmonary Vascular Disease Specialist Advisory Group. I was a member of the BTS out-patient PE guidelines group and chaired the recent BTS out-patient PE quality standards.
