Dr Khan is currently working as a Specialist in the Department of Acute Medicine at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust which is now part of the wider NHS Humber Health Partnership. He is also one of the first doctors who joined the Virtual Ward Program in the Trust and together with his colleagues have provided care to more than 1000 patients in the Virtual Wards across both sites. Apart from his clinical activities, he is the Clinical Lead for Quality Improvement and Medicine Lead for the Deteriorating Patient and Sepsis Oversight Group within the Trust. He has a keen interest in teaching and is an Honorary Senior Lecturer for Hull York Medical School.
