Mike is a consultant in paediatric sleep medicine at Evelina London Children's Hospital. He has a strong interest in sleep deprivation and fatigue in healthcare staff, and has worked to improve awareness and support of these issues over the last ten years. He also has a strong interest in LGBT+ healthcare, and was one of the lead developers of the Rainbow NHS Badge project.
