Justin is a Consultant Intensivist & Anaesthetist at the Royal Surrey NHS Trust in Guildford. He is Deputy Medical Director and Professional Director of Therapeutics there. Whilst often known for ultrasound training (he is the Intensive Care Society’s National Lead for Lung Ultrasound) he is also a fervent promoter of medication safety. He is the Chair of a new charity, Turning the Tide, set up by like-minded multidisciplinary individuals to improve the use of intravenous fluids in the UK across all hospital departments. His other work interests are the management of high-risk patients through major surgery, regional anaesthesia and awake surgery, clinical research, and of course point of care ultrasound.
