President, Royal College of Anaesthetists
Fiona Donald is a consultant anaesthetist at North Bristol NHS Trust. She is also the President of the Royal College of Anaesthetists - the second female President in its 30 year history. Fiona graduated from Bristol University Medical School in 1985 and did her anaesthesia training in Bristol, Oxford and Geneva. Her main area of clinical interest is obstetric anaesthesia and alongside this she has spent many years helping to develop and deliver obstetric emergency team training. She has also been involved in education and training through her roles with the Bristol School of Anaesthesia and the Royal College of Anaesthetists.
