The Wirral Teletriage team is a twenty four hour service providing clinical assessment and advice to care homes within the Wirral area. It is a Nurse-led project, the staff use Ipads to video consult as part of the assessment providing the opportunity to visualise the problem. The care staff no longer call 111 for non-urgent care needs. The nursing staff work from 08:00 to 20:00hrs. from 20:00 hrs the service is supported by the Wirral G.P-OOH team who continue to provide clinical advice overnight.
