Dan Lasserson
Professor of Acute Ambulatory Care, Clinical Lead: Acute Hospital at Home,
University of Warwick and John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford Univeristy Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
Dan Lasserson is the President of the UK Hospital at Home Society, Professor of Acute Ambulatory Care at the University of Warwick, and the Physician Lead for the Acute Hospital at Home service at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He is the Acute Care Interfaces Lead in the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) West Midlands and has an interest in how point-of-care diagnostics can support acute care decision making in the home and care home setting. He leads two NIHR Policy Research Programme studies: optimal acute medical care delivery during winter and waves of COVID-19 and how Acute Hospital at Home models can expand their scope of clinical work. He sits on the Clinical Reference Group for NHS England's Virtual Ward/Hospital at Home Programme, the Society for Acute Medicine's Research Committee and the Editorial Board of the Acute Medicine Journal.
