Dr Ajay Verma is a Consultant Gastroenterologist, working in Kettering General Hospital, Northamptonshire. Dr Verma is Gastroenterology specialty lead for NIHR East Midlands and Director of Research. He is the chief investigator for the CRUK funded COLO-PREVENT study. Dr Verma is chair of the British Society of Gastroenterology's colorectal section and member of the IBD section. He is a Royal College of Physicians elected councillor. Away from work Ajay enjoys spending time with family, his wife Vini (Interventional Radiologist), children Luca (9) and Bella (7). Ajay is a sports fanatic. He plays badminton to a reasonable standard (his assessment!).
