Acute & General Medicine Conference 2023 united the UK healthcare community for a comprehensive two-day event. Held on 14-15 November at ExCeL London, the conference attracted over 2600 healthcare professionals across the two days from various medical specialties, reinforcing our status as an industry leading event designed to provide an environment for reflection, experience sharing and clinical updates.

With more than 70 educational sessions, the conference provided a platform for attendees to engage with leading minds in the profession. The CPD accredited programme focused on instilling confidence in treating medically complex patients, offering the latest guidance updates and professional development discussions. Over the two days attendees had the opportunity to tailor their learning experience, choosing from a diverse range of lecture-based seminars and hands-on training designed to enhance attendees’ day to day professional life.

The unique event also hosted over 200 exhibitors showcasing innovative products and services aimed at enhancing patient care and improving outcomes.

This year’s conference featured world-class speakers such as Dr Paul Dragan, who explored ‘Cardiovascular toxicity’, Dr Sarb Clare on ‘Ultrasound for the generalist’ and Professor Dame Clare Gerada discussing ‘There is no Healthcare without Selfcare’ to name a few.

In addition to insightful presentations, sponsored hands-on training sessions covered topics such as ‘A Practical Guide to the Aute Management of DOAC-related Major Bleeds’ and an ‘Introduction to Renal & Bladder POCUS’.
