Evidence for the treatment of conditions such as heart failure, hypertension and mental health crises become more complex when applied to older adults with multiple chronic conditions and functional impairment. In this session we will examine how to interpret the evidence for this population, and cover key benefits and drawbacks of prescribing versus deprescribing.
