During my talk I will discuss some of the specific healthcare needs and issues faced by transgender and gender diverse patients in critical care. I will outline key physiological, pharmacological and psychological considerations clinicians should be aware of and highlight ways in which we can improve the experiences of LGBTQ+ staff and patients.
