Sam Williams

ACCS4 Trainee, Royal Free London Hospital
Sam is an anaesthetic trainee at The Royal Free Hospital in North London, where he is the Anaesthesia Clinical Services Accreditation (ACSA) Fellow. He graduated in Medicine from the University of Edinburgh in 2017, achieving a First Class Honours degree in Immunology. He was awarded prizes from the British Thoracic Society and Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh for his research into the pathobiology of apoptotic neutrophils. A keen educator, Sam has held formal clinical teaching posts in Edinburgh and has led on a pan-London ACCS teaching programme for the past three years. His clinical interests are in peri-operative medicine and anaesthesia for major complex surgery.
