Lucy Powley graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2008 with a degree in veterinary medicine, she studied Medicine at the University of Birmingham graduating with Honours in 2014. Since graduation she has attained membership of the Royal College of Physicians and primary exams for fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists. She has published peer reviewed work in the field of occupational health and online patient resources. She is committed to quality improvement work focusing on improving patient safety. She currently works as a trust grade anaesthetist at Leeds Teaching Hospitals.
