Training in Internal and Emergency Medicine Training is a very determinant factor of effectiveness and reliability of health care with a sustainable clinical risk management strategy. The widespread achievement and practice of robust skills in non-invasive ultrasound diagnostics, particularly chest, lung, heart and abdomen is a realistic goal.
Reasonable efforts are warranted also for increasing knowledge and expertise in genomics and bioinformatics which will contribute to more advanced professional profiles and expertise, attractive also for patients.
1. There are currently several limitations in the curricula and training in diagnostic ultrasound and bio-informatics & genomic
2. The use of e-learning tools and the availability of on-site training is possible in most health system and is recommended
3. Advantages are likely for the patients and for health professionals.
